Whether you are a Calgary business launching a new brand, a nonprofit sharing your impact with donors, or an institution that needs its message carried with authority, PenjoStudios is built for corporate work. We produce brand films, commercials, corporate documentaries, interviews, training videos and event films — each one crafted around your audience, your goals, and the places your film will live, from your website and social channels to boardrooms and broadcast.
What sets our corporate work apart is its documentary heart. With more than eighteen years behind the camera, we bring a filmmaker’s eye to every frame: interviews lit and directed like cinema, b-roll that feels alive rather than staged, pacing that holds attention, and post-production — colour grading, sound design, motion graphics — finished to a broadcast standard. The result is corporate video that never feels corporate: polished, human, and impossible to confuse with stock footage.
That standard was forged on demanding ground. Our documentary and media work for organisations including WWF, UNDP, UNESCO, UNHCR, UNEP, the European Union Commission, FSC and CBM has taken us across Cameroon, Liberia, Ivory Coast and Congo-Brazzaville — projects with tight deadlines, layered approvals and zero margin for error. We are fluent in the way institutions work: clear proposals, fixed quotes, structured review rounds, captioned and subtitled delivery. That same discipline travels with us to every shoot in Calgary, Chestermere and beyond.
Discovery. Every production begins with a conversation, not a camera. In discovery we learn what the film must achieve — who will watch it, where it will be seen, and what you want them to feel or do afterward. We study your brand and any materials you bring, then return with a concept, a production plan, a timeline and a fixed written quote in Canadian dollars. You know exactly what you are getting, and what it costs, before anything is filmed.
Shoot day. Shoot days are run with minimal disruption to your operations. Interviews are directed and lit to a cinematic standard, with broadcast-quality sound captured on professional recorders — your people look confident and sound clear. Around the interviews we gather cinematic b-roll: your team at work, your space, the details that make your organisation real. Most interview and testimonial shoots wrap in a single day; larger brand films and documentaries are scheduled across several, always planned shot by shot in advance.
Review rounds. You are never left guessing what your film looks like until the end. We work in structured review rounds: you see a rough cut at an agreed milestone, share consolidated notes, and we refine. Stakeholders across your organisation can weigh in at defined stages, so approvals move quickly and nobody is surprised by the final film. The cut is locked only when you are happy.
Delivery. Final delivery is built for everywhere your film needs to go. You receive a high-quality master file, web-ready versions optimised for your site and platforms and, where the project calls for it, vertical cutdowns for reels and stories — plus caption files and subtitled versions for accessibility and multilingual audiences. We deliver to your technical specifications, so the film plays beautifully on every screen it meets.

Yes. Our clients include WWF, UNDP, UNHCR, UNESCO, UNEP, the European Union Commission, FSC and CBM — with documentary and media projects across Cameroon, Liberia, Ivory Coast and Congo-Brazzaville.
Structured review rounds are built into every corporate production, so stakeholders stay aligned at each stage. You review a rough cut at an agreed milestone, share consolidated notes, and we refine through defined revision rounds — no endless back-and-forth. Final approval is always yours: the film is locked only when every decision-maker has signed off.
Timelines depend on the project — a single interview or testimonial can turn around in a matter of days, a brand film typically takes four to eight weeks from first call to final delivery, and a full corporate documentary takes longer. Your exact schedule, with every milestone visible, is agreed in the production plan before we begin.
Yes — across Alberta, Canada-wide, and internationally for the right project. Our institutional documentary work has taken us across Cameroon, Liberia, Ivory Coast and Congo-Brazzaville, so travel productions are second nature to us. Any travel is quoted transparently inside your fixed quote, so there are no surprises.
Often, yes. Interview and testimonial packages are our fastest format and can turn around in days when your schedule demands it. Tell us your hard deadline in the first conversation — if we can deliver to our standard in the time available, we will commit to it in writing; if the timeline would compromise quality, we will tell you honestly rather than promise what we cannot deliver.
Absolutely. If you arrive with a finished script, a detailed brief, or just a few bullet points and a vision, we meet you there. Some clients hand us a locked script and we take it through storyboarding, shooting and post-production; others bring only an idea and we develop the concept, messaging and shot list together. Either way, your materials are treated as the foundation, not an afterthought.
Yes — every corporate production can be delivered with closed captions and subtitles, either burned in or as separate SRT/VTT sidecar files for your platform. We regularly produce subtitled versions for multilingual audiences and accessibility compliance, in English, French and other languages as your project requires. Captioned video simply performs better everywhere: it is watched longer, shared more, and understood by everyone.
You receive a high-quality master file for archiving, web-ready MP4 versions optimised for your website and social platforms, and vertical cutdowns for reels, stories and shorts wherever the project includes them. Caption files and subtitled versions are provided alongside. If your broadcaster or platform has specific technical delivery specs, we conform to them — and your agreement sets out exactly what you own.
Yes. We are happy to sign non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements before the first discovery call — many of our institutional clients require them, and we treat your information with the same discretion we bring to UN agency work. Send us your standard agreement and we will have it executed promptly.
Every corporate project receives a fixed written quote in Canadian dollars, built from your brief: concept, shoot days, crew, editing, captions and delivery formats are all itemised, so you see exactly what you are paying for. There are no hourly meters running in the background and no surprise invoices — the number we agree is the number you pay, and a deposit secures your shoot dates.
