Start with a strong brief. The smoothest event coverage begins with a good run sheet — session times, speaker names, award categories, the moments that absolutely must be captured — and we build our coverage plan around it. If you have a shot list, send it; if you don’t, we will help you write one. Tell us who the VIPs are (a name and a photo helps), which sponsors need visibility, and where branding must appear. The more we know before we arrive, the less you think about us on the day.
Handle VIPs and dignitaries with care. Flag any protocols in advance — who may be photographed freely, who prefers to approve images, where the official party will sit or stand. We dress for the room, work with long lenses so we never crowd anyone, and coordinate with your MC or stage manager so key moments are covered without a camera ever blocking the audience’s view.
Plan ahead for fast turnaround. If you want content while the event is still happening, say so at booking. Same-day social edits — a short teaser reel or a handful of selects — are absolutely possible when we schedule editing time into the day. Tell us which moments matter most for your channels and we prioritise them: the opening, the keynote’s best line, the award handover, the crowd at its liveliest.
Sweat the small logistics. Confirm our arrival time, parking and a contact person on-site; introduce us to your AV team so we can take clean audio from the sound desk for speeches and keynotes; and let the venue know we are coming if there are media or access rules. Because it needs dedicated editing time, same-day delivery is arranged as part of your package rather than added at the last minute.
We work like documentarians: silent camera modes, long lenses that keep us at a respectful distance, and positions agreed with your officiant, MC or venue beforehand. We never use flash during solemn or formal moments, and we coordinate with your AV team so we never block the audience’s view. Most guests forget we are there — and that is exactly the point.
The essentials are your event schedule or run sheet, the venue address and your on-site contact, and your shot list or must-capture moments. For corporate events, add speaker names, VIP identities, sponsor branding requirements and any photography protocols. A short planning call usually covers everything — the better the brief, the smoother the day.
Yes. We are based in Chestermere and regularly cover events across Calgary and throughout Alberta, and we are available for events worldwide. Travel is quoted transparently as part of your proposal — tell us the location and we will give you one clear, all-in figure in Canadian dollars.
Our standard delivery is hand-edited — colour-corrected, polished photographs and cleanly cut video — because that is what represents your event at its best. If your team needs raw files for its own editors, such as full-length keynote recordings or unedited selects, we can include them by arrangement. Just mention it when you request your quote so it is part of the plan.
Absolutely. We record full-length keynotes, panels and presentations with clean, professional audio — we connect to the venue’s sound desk wherever possible so every word is captured clearly. You receive the complete recording alongside your highlight reel, which keeps the footage useful long after the event for training, archives and on-demand content.
